Future Visions

Prospects and Hopes of the Chair:

1. Creating a Qur'anic encyclopedia comprising all subjects and sciences pertinent to Qur'anic studies, and compiling it on a CD for it to be published and to facilitate having access to it, carrying it and benefitting from its subjects.
2. Facilitating the recitation of the Holy Qur'an for all knowledge seekers through studying under recitation sheikhs via satellite channels and the worldwide web.
3. Utilizing the advanced abilities of computers to serve Qur'anic studies and designing encyclopedic programs to make the science of recitation easy and facilitate understanding the Qur'an, meditating on it and benefitting from it.
4. Supporting reciters of the Qur'an with modern technology and programs to channel their recitation all over.
5.   Directing Qur'anic studies and research to innovation and addressing the problems of society.
6. Developing a discourse suiting the present generation and its needs through topical exegesis research.
7. Compiling all Qur'anic studies writings, studies and programs in one center.
8. Compiling Qur'an-based exegeses from the 1^st Century A.H. to the 15^th Century A.H.
9.  Recording abridged exegeses on CDs and audio tapes.
10. Devising e-tree and wall tree diagrams indicating the chains of reciters from the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) up to the present.
