E-Library

A nucleus of a specialized e-library of Qur'anic studies books, indexes and other materials was established, including a number of groups:

Group 1:

It includes a number of books, research papers and indexes:

  1. University theses database (92,968 titles)
  2. Heritage treasury (50,000 manuscript titles)
  3. The Grand Compilation (20,000 volumes).
  4. The comprehensive library (16,000 books)
  5. Knowledge Seeker Encyclopedia (1,900 books)
  6. Exegeses Compilation (50 books).
  7. Al-Manar Journal (6,720 articles)
  8. Al-Bayan Journal (5,000 articles)
  9. Umm Al-Qura University Journal (575 articles)

10. Islamic University Journal (204 articles)

11. Islamic Research Journal, issued by the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta – KSA (73 research papers).

Group 2:

It includes six computer programs for teaching recitation rules and lections of the Qur'an:

  1. Verse lines on the proprieties of knowledge seekers.
  2. The comprehensive verse lines on Imam Nafi''s lection.
  3. Al-Jazri verse lines.
  4. Recitation of the 30th Part and Chapter 1 of the Qur'an according to the seven frequent lections of the Qur'an.
  5. Mentioned in the Qur'an.
  6. Hafs Program for teaching the rules of reciting the Qur'an according to Hafs.

Group 3:

It includes various Qur'anic studies programs:

  1. The Poetic Encyclopedia.
  2. The History of Islam; it includes Ibn Katheer's البداية والنهاية and Dr. Abdus-Salam At-Termanini's أحداث التاريخ الإسلامي .
  3. The Fatwas of the Permanent Committee of the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta – KSA.
  4. A program presenting Ash-Shatbi Institute and some of its achievements in Qur'anic studies.
